Do’s and Don’ts

The following is a list of reminders for home owners and guests:

Common Areas:

  • Do Clean up after your pets in all common grounds. Especially around the pool. Many kids walk to the pool in bare feet.
  • Do Clean up after yourself at the pool.  Don’t Leave the tables a mess.  No one wants to clean the table before they can use it.
  • Do Put the pool umbrellas down when you leave the pool.  The winds will blow them over and they will get broken.
  • Don’t Put the pool chairs in the pool.

Interior Area:

  • Do Check you elevator pit regularly for water.  Some home owners have found water under the elevator car.
  • Do Keep your out side dryer vent clean.  Lint buildup can be a fire hazard. Blocked vents also make clothes drying take longer.
  • Don’t Hang towels and bathing suits on the deck rails, it is not allowed.
  • Do Have a friend check out your home if you are not down to the beach for a while.  A quick inspection can head off major problems.
  • Do set house temperature to 55 while you are away in the winter to avoid frozen pipes.
  • Do turn off main water valve when you leave.  Any leak will be minimal if one were to occur while you are gone.

Exterior Area:

  • Do turn off and drain exterior faucets and shower in the fall
  • Don’t power wash the portal ceilings, there are painted drywall
  • Don’t Grill on the decks, possible fire hazard
